I would like to express my most sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. I recently lost my great grandmother, and I know how hard this time can be. We find much comfort in the Bible. At Revelation 21:4 we’re told that there will soon come a time when,”He [God] will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more!” This no doubt makes us feel very happy to know that we won’t have to deal with grief anymore! Some more scriptures that I found helpful are John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15, and Psalm 37:9-11. They truly helped to comfort me, and I hope they will comfort you also!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is such a difficult thing to experience. Please be comforted by the promises in the Bible. Jesus tells us at John 5:28, 29 that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. What a loving provision put in place by the God of all comfort so we can have the assured hope of seeing our dead loved ones live again one day.
