Amanda Diane Harris, 41, of Rome, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, March 20, 2024, at Floyd Atrium Hospital. Amanda was born in Rome, Georgia, on May 14, 1982, daughter of Steven Marcus Harris and Kathy Elaine “Shadwick” Harris. She graduated from Coosa High School and went on to obtain her certified nursing assistant certification. She leaves behind her three children, who were her world: Marcus Harris (18), Edgar Harris (17), and Bree Harris (14). Additional survivors include her loving father, Steve Marcus Harris, her brother, Steven Ira Harris, her nephew, Jack Harris, and her nieces, Emily and Katelyn Harris, as well as various other family members who held a special place in her heart. Sissy's vibrant spirit and unwavering love will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. A memorial service will be held on March 29th at John House's Cave Spring Chapel at 3:00 P.M. The family will receive friends there from 2:00 P. M. until the service hour.
