Michael Hobart Toulouza

Mr. Michael Hobart Toulouza, age 63, of Fayetteville, and formerly of Cave Spring, died February 10, 2017 in Clayton County, Georgia.  

Mr. Toulouza was the son of the late Gene Toulouza and the late Laura Janes Toulouza, born December 14, 1953 in Rome, Georgia.  Mr. Toulouza was a 1971 graduate of the Cave Spring High School, where his father was the principal and his mother taught science classes. Mr. Toulouza was a chemical engineer, having graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  He had worked at several companies as their chemist, had worked at Yellowstone National Park, had taught school in Metter, Georgia, and at the time of his death he was a Setup Configuration Specialist for the Aon Hewitt Company.  Mr. Toulouza had made his home in Fayetteville since the middle 90's, and was an active member of the McDonough Road Baptist Church, as well as being active in the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, and the Atlanta Track Association where he helped organize events.

Mr. Toulouza is survived by his younger brother, Gene Toulouza of Houston, Texas.

Memorial services for Mr. Toulouza were held Saturday morning, March 4, 2017, at 10:30 A. M. at the McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Dr. David Chancey and Dr. David Smith officiating.  A commital service was held Sunday afternoon, March 5, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the family lot of the Cave Spring Cemetery with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.
