I was so saddened to hear about Amanda. We worked together at NWGH I was a new nurse at the time. Amanda was so compassionate and great with the disabled guys. She had a great smile, awesome work ethic and was a joy to know.

Heath, Emi Kate, Hayes, and precious family - I am deeply saddened by your loss. It was a a JOY and a privilege to care for Amanda, she will always hold a special place in my heart. She was my favorite "patient" but I considered her a friend. Heaven is brighter with her smile but it's certainly lonesome without her in the meantime, I know that her Paradise is incomplete until you are reunited one day. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers for peace and healing in the midst of your sorrow.

We would like to express our sympathy in the passing of our dear friend Amanda White Ashworth. She was like a "family member" to our family. Amanda and our daughter Kari Lynn were best friends for many years even up to her recent medical issues and including her entrance into Heaven. If you have not had a chance to read Kari's memories of this friendship printed last week in Facebook, please do so. The multitudes of persons paying tributes to Amanda tonight at her church were overwhelming. This shows the impact she has had on so many. May God hold each of you in His hands at this time. We have prayed for Amanda ever since we heard of her illness. We do not understand God's planning or timing, but we do believe that God's word is perfection. Amanda's life was a life of influence, and strength. We pray for Heath, and her children, her parents, and her in laws. The children will miss mom but they have such a good support system from Aunts, cousins, and grandparents, and a loving dad. This is a pain that only God, and time can heal.Remember all the good times, and embrace them. love to all

There are no words to take away your hurt. Many are mourning from your loss. Amanda was such a sweet, fun, loving person that we did not want to be taken away from us so soon. None of us were expecting her to go to heaven this soon in her life. We thought she would win the battle. God had other plans. Many of us are asking why even though we know she is in a better place. I pray for your strength and faith to get through the tough days, month and years ahead. Heath, please don't hesitate to ask for anything you may need.
