Mrs. Judy H. Manning, 75, of Cave Spring, died Saturday morning, December 7, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.
The former Judy Hunt, Mrs. Manning was born in Chattanooga, December 13, 1943, a daughter of the late Roy Hunt and the late Virginia (Johnny) Templeton Hunt. Mrs. Manning made her home in Atlanta for a number of years, where she was employed by B and M Graphics and later by the Apex Plumbing Supply Company as an accountant. After moving to Cave Spring, she was associated with Kellogg’s.
Mrs. Manning was married to Thomas Richard Manning September 2, 1992, and was preceded in death by him August 10, 2005. Besides her husband and her parents, Mrs. Manning was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Dixon Hines September 23, 2007.
Survivors include three sons, Tim McBrayer and his wife Tasha of Liburn, David Wertheimer and Phillip Wertheimer, both of Cave Spring; eight grandchildren, Rames McBrayer, Kamden McBrayer, Felicia Wertheimer, Jessica W. Lee, Samantha Wertheimer, Christopher Wertheimer, Kirah Wertheimer and Delbert Dixon; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Lee and Raelyn Lee. Two sisters, Mrs. Katie H. Bradford and Mrs. Debbie H. Dillard, and two brothers, Charles (Chuck) Harris and James (Jimmy) Harris also survive.
Memorial services for Mrs. Manning were held Saturday afternoon, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at John House's Cave Spring Chapel with Rev. Dale Byars officiating.
