I didn't know Mary at all, in fact I recently moved here from Missouri.
I was in an antique shop in Rome, GA and found a book that was marked 1.00 on sale for half price. FAITH TO FAITH.
How very sad that a book with the contents about Faith, would be .50 and still just laying there.
It was brand new, appeared to have never been read.
On the back cover was written:
Betty,
May God's richest blessings be bestowed upon you and yours daily.

I'm enjoying the daily readings, tho I'm not the person that Mary intended to read it.
Funny how life has its twists and turns and I'm sorry that Mary is no longer here for me to thank her.
But, as I am a sister in Christ to Mary, I am happy to know that she had a generous heart and love for Christ ...shown in her desire to share Him with a friend.
Your gift is finally being read Mary!

Dear Jo,
Dad and I were so sorry to hear the news of the passing of your mother. We lost mother 2 1/2 years ago and there are still very teary days at times. Eventhough they may be at the end of their time or physically ill, it just hurts to loose them in our earthly life. I pray all of you are doing well and daddy and I both send our love. He shared a memory with me this morning on the phone about you all as children.....you came outside where daddy was under a tree eating lunch and wanted to eat with him! What sweet times! I know your mom was a treasure to your family. Please take care.

Ma Garner will always be remembered for her love, sweet demeanor , and encouragement to all who knew her.
Johnny Mac always wanted to visit Ma Garner and have long chats with her.
Our Prayers go out to all of you in your loss. Know for sure .....she will be waiting to see us once again In Heaven where we will laugh and sing forever.
