My condolences and prayers to the Posey family. My 3rd grade teacher bad a very profound impact in my life one of the few educators that really cared. She would have our birthday parties at her home. Forever in my heart ms. Posey RIP

Lori, Claire and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Mrs. Posey had a special place in my heart. When I was 14, I was grieving my parents divorce. I don't know how she knew how miserable I was, but she seemed to sense that I needed a friend. She never directly addressed my woes, she just asked me if I wanted to accompany her to a nursing home to visit the residents there one Saturday. I went with her two or three times, and enjoyed spending time with her. She wisely knew that doing something for someone in need would help me to deal with my own sadness. Mrs. Posey was a dear, sweet lady.
