Mr. Victor Anthony Higgins, 83, of Dunwoody, died Thursday morning, April 26, 2018 in Dunwoody following an illness of three years.
A native of Galveston, Texas, Mr. Higgins was born there March 5, 1935, a son of the late Francis Joseph Higgins and the late Rosalie Lenz Higgins. Mr. Higgins was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a paratrooper, worked his way through the University of Texas, and was associated with Combustion Engineering of Atlanta where he served as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Higgins was a member of the Dunwoody Country Club, and was of the Catholic faith.
Besides his parents, Mr. Higgins was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Kimberly Higgins George and her husband Bobby of Rome; and two sons, Victor A. (Tony) Higgins, Jr. of Oklahoma, and Charles Higgins and his wife Melissa of Chicago. Six grandchildren, a sister in law, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
