Mr. Robert Earl (Bobby) Graves, 59, of Sand Rock, Alabama, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Graves was born in Mountain Home, Idaho on April 16, 1962, son of William Tommy Graves and Carol Jean Bartlett Graves while his father was stationed there in the Air Force.
Mr. Graves was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Airborne and was a retired truck driver associated with Osborne Trucking Company for 15 years prior to his retirement a couple of years ago. A devout Alabama Fan, he enjoyed camping and riding horses.
Mr. Graves is survived by his wife, the former Tammie Mullins, to whom he was married May 8, 1998; by his daughter, Sarah Graves of Magnolia, Texas; and by step-sons Barry Agan and Byron Agan. Two grandchildren, Max Scott and Brayden Scott, two step grand-sons, Mason Agan and Dalton Agan, his mother Mrs. Carol Humphrey and a brother in law, Steve (Wendy) Prater along with several uncles, an aunt and a number of nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Graves were held Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga at 10:30 A.M. EDT with family members sharing memories. Military honors were presented by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. EDT.
