Mr. Danny Walton Obituary

Danny Lamar Walton, 67, of Cave Spring, died Wednesday evening, April 20, 2022 following an extended illness.

Mr. Walton was a native of Dublin, Ga., born there March 1, 1955, a son of the late Floyd Walton and the late Curtis Holmes Walton. A loving family man, Mr. Walton also loved working for Bell South and later AT&T, having been associated with them from the age of 18 right out of high school until just recently.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Walton, and by his sister in law, Lynda Walton.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, the former Beverly Jessup, to whom he was married May 2, 1985; and his four children, Heather Money (Jackie) of Lyerly, Hilton Harris of Cave Spring, Brooke Walton of Oxford, AL, and Holly Harris of Cave Spring. Seven grandchildren, Austin Terry, Blake Terry, Trista Harris, Maggie Sensenig, Katelyn Walton, Aliyah Zachery, and Jayden Zachery; and his sister, Debbie Walton Johnson of Waco, GA. also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Walton was cremated.

There will be a visitation at the funeral home Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Egleston Children’s Hospital, 1405 Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30322.
