Mrs. Barbara Ann (Burkhalter) Garrison, age 81, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
She was born February 17, 1940, in Aragon, Ga. Mrs. Garrison was the daughter of the late Nolan Burkhalter and Ruby Sutton Burkhalter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Garrison, her son, Gerry Garrison. And her beloved dog, Riley.
Mrs. Garrison was a member of First Baptist Church of Cave Spring. Upon retirement, she made a career as a Master Barber. She loved cooking, crocheting, working with her flowers, and spending time with her family. Although she moved from Cave Spring to Aragon and back to Cedartown, Cave Spring was always home to her.
Survivors include her son, Terry Garrison of Cedartown, and daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Steve Cauthen also of Cedartown, Grandchildren: Blake Cauthen of Lindale, Leah Stephenson and her husband, Brian, of Cedartown, and Krystle Waters and her fiance, Jordan Kitchens, of Jenkinsburg GA Great-grandchildren: Landon Mitchell, Presley Stephenson, Amber Waters, and Ellis Kate Stephenson. A special friend, Charles Wills, of Cedartown. And a special pet, Roger. T
The family received friends at First Baptist Church of Cave Spring on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
Funeral Services were held at First Baptist Church of Cave Spring On Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 2 PM with Rev. Jarrod Kindsey officiating, followed by graveside service at Polk Memory Gardens in Cedartown, GA.
Pallbearers: Gary Burkhalter, Mike McDougal, Chris Mull, Blake Cauthen, Brian Stephenson, Landon Mitchell. Honorary Pallbearers: Bob Mull, Frank Payne
