Mrs. Barbara Gunn

Mrs. Barbara Gunn, 78, of Cave Spring, died Sunday afternoon in a Rome hospital.

The former Barbara Joan Sweat, she was born in Cedartown July 24, 1945, a daughter of the late Porter Sweat and the late Margie Sanfrantello Sweat Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Gary Gunn; by her husband, Billy Pyle; and by her siblings, Larry Sweat, Gary Johnson, and Charlene Howard.

Mrs. Gunn is survived by a son, Roger Gunn; by two grandsons, Hunter Gunn and Hayes Gunn, and by a sister, Margie Johnson.

Mrs. Gunn’s family received friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon, January 20, 2024 from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M.
