Mrs. Dorothy Ruth McLemore Obituary

Dorothy Ruth Fleming McLemore, 75, of Cave Spring, died Sunday afternoon, December 5, 2021 in a Rome Hospital.

Mrs. McLemore was born in Summerville on May 18, 1946, a daughter of the late Hugh Fleming and the late Era Parkinson Fleming, and was a homemaker and a retired cashier with the Golden Gallon Company.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jackie L. McLemore on December 11, 2004 and by three brothers, James Fleming, Junior Fleming and Bobby Fleming.

Mrs. McLemore is survived by two step-sons, Rickey (Melissa) McLemore and Paul (Paige) McLemore, all of Cave Spring, and by a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Rutledge of Summerville. Two grandsons, Nick (Elizabeth) McLemore and Timmy (Christie) McLemore, all of Cave Spring; eight great-grandchildren, three nieces, six nephews and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. McLemore were held Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the graveside of Cave Spring Cemetery.
