Mrs. Gail Packer Obituary

Mrs. Gail Packer, 78, died in her sleep Saturday morning, October 23, 2021 at her residence.

The former Brenda Gail Broadaway, she was born in Cedartown March 11, 1943, a daughter of the late David F. Broadaway and the late Grace Hendrix Broadaway. Mrs. Packer was a graduate of the Cedartown High School, and for several years she was associated with the Cave Spring Elementary School as a para-pro.

She was married to Donald Edward Packer August 5, 1961, and was preceded in death by him October 20, 2018.

Mrs. Packer is survived by four sons, David (Patricia) Packer of Tallahassee, FL, Tracy (Nanette) Packer of Cave Spring, Jody (Daphne) Packer, of Rome, and Dennis (Amy) Packer of Deltona, FL. Ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Packer were held Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. from the graveside of the Round Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dale Byars officiating.
