Mrs. Marilyn Burrier, 82, of Cedartown, died Thursday afternoon, August 26, 2021.
The former Marilyn Marini, she was born in Melrose, Illinois on June 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Joseph Marini and the late Lillian Lee Marini. Mrs. Burrier was a homemaker and attended the Episcopal Church. She was married to the late David Edward Burrier on February 19, 1958, and was preceded in death by him on March 30, 2016.
Besides her husband and her parents, Mrs. Burrier was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herschel Marini, David Marini and Joey Marini.
Mrs. Burrier is survived by two sons, Doug Burrier and his wife Amber of Cave Spring and Dan Burrier and his wife Lauri of Los Angeles, California; by one daughter, Mrs. Debra Haggerty and her husband Edwin of Loganville; by four grandchildren, Nick Burrier, Connor Horn, Jordan Keith, and Isaac Burrier, and by one great-grandson Alistair Keith. One brother, Frank (Elsie) Marini of San Diego, and three sisters, Mrs. Patricia ( Jack) Demarest and Mrs. Lillian (Tom) Simpson, both of Modesto, California, and Mrs. Sharon (Al) Johnson of Carpentersville, Illinois also survive.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Burrier was cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
