Ms. Delores Clare Thomason

Ms. Delores Clare Thomason, 81, of Rome, died unexpectedly Monday morning, June 5, 2023 in a Rome hospital.

The former Delores Clare Adams, was born January 2, 1942 in Waterboro, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Stephen Peter Adams and the late Ruth Kinard Adams.   She was a homemaker, and had made her home in Rome for a number of years.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry James Thomason on June 14, 2021; by two brothers, Eugene Adams and Stephen P. Adams, Jr.; and by a sister, Mrs. Joyce Carter.

Ms. Thomason is survived by one daughter, Brenda Sue Thomason of Rome, and by three sons, Bobby Thomason of Rome, Kenneth Thomason of Summerville, and Ray Thomason and his wife Trina of Rome.  One sister, Mrs. Betty Boyd of Norfolk, Virginia, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Ms. Thomason was cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
