William Burand (Billy) Wilson, 64, of Cave Spring, died Monday afternoon, December 14, 2020 in a Rome hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born in Rome October 22, 1956, son of the late Armister Burand Wilson and the late Annie Ruth Baxter Wilson. He was a graduate of the Cave Spring High School, and had been associated with Lee Cylinder in Cedartown, Sure Heat in Kennesaw, and The Neaton Company in Rome. He was of the Baptist Church, and had attended Live Oak Baptist and Grace Fellowship Baptist Churches.
Besides his parents, Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by his three sisters, Mrs. Joyce Davis, Mrs. Mary Simmons, and Mrs. Linda Roork.
Survivors include two daughers, Heather Wilson McLemore and Olivia Paige Wilson and one son, William Taylor Wilson, all of Rome. Two grandchildren, Ansleigh Nicole McLemore and Timothy Jake McLemore also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilson will be held Friday at 2:00 P.M. at John House’s Cave Spring Chapel. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Cave Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Kenny Lambert, Stanley Ash, Glenn Spivey, Ronnie Barnes, Todd Watson, Shane Bennett, Humpy Garrett and Jimmy Tate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
